Product description The UC4852 2-Port USB to Serial RS-422/485 Hub from ATEN provides an external plug-and-play RS-422 and RS-485 serial connection for connecting handheld computing devices to computers, laptops, and notebooks. The hub is designed to offer a cost-effective solution for quickly and simply adding RS-422 and RS-485 serial ports with data transfer rates of up to 115.2 kb/s for each serial port. As the hub is hot-swappable, no IRQ, DMA, or I/O address resources are needed and each port can independently switch between RS-422 and RS-485. - Supports automatic handshake mode
- Up to 115.2 kb/s data transfer rate for each serial port
- Dual data buffers for each upstream and downstream data transfer
