Product description The ATEN USB-C Multiport Dock with Power Charging gives desktop-like capabilities to your USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3-equipped laptop. You get a total of nine additional ports, including one USB Type-C, one Gigabit LAN, one DisplayPort with Multi-Stream Transport, one HDMI, two 3.5mm audio, and three USB 3.0 Type-A ports. Dock your notebook with the included USB Type-C cable to get access to all your connected peripherals. - Power Delivery 2.0
- This dock supports Power Delivery 2.0 on the USB Type-C port. If your laptop supports a Power Delivery profile specification of either 20V/3A, 20V/1.8A, 12V/3A, or 5V/3A, you'll be able to charge your computer while still being able to take advantage of peripherals connected to the dock.
- Multi-Monitor Support
- When docked, you can output your laptop's video signal to either a single monitor or TV, or to a dual display setup. Connecting two displays requires both the DisplayPort and HDMI port. They each support up to 1080p Full HD graphics at a 60 Hz refresh rate. The DisplayPort outputs up to a 2048 x 1200 resolution at, while the HDMI connection outputs to 1920 x 1200. Both ports support a 60 Hz refresh rate when using two displays.
If you output your laptop's video signal to a single monitor or TV, you have the choice of using the DisplayPort or HDMI port. Either port delivers 4K Ultra HD graphics, with the HDMI port providing a resolution of 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz, while the DisplayPort can output up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz.
