Product description Transform your USB Type-C device into a dual monitor workstation with the USB Type-C to Dual-HDMI Mini Dock from ATEN. This dock supports the 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 spec, as well as dual display mode. It can route video from a source device, such as a laptop, to two HDMI monitors. The signal is split to allow for a dual-view display from a single cable, while maintaining high-quality resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. Please note that dual-view requires a graphics card that supports DisplayPort 1.w with MST and HBR2. Mac computers do not have MST and only support single-view output.
Ultra HD 4K resolutions are also supported using a single display output at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz. However, your system must have an Intel 7th Generation Kaby Lake processor or later. It must also support DP Alt Mode.
This dock connects to your host system using an integrated USB Type-C port and an included USB Type-C to Type-C cable, but also features a USB Type-A port for connecting up to 128 additional peripherals. All connectivity is plug-and-play, meaning that no additional drivers or external power adapters are needed. It is compatible with Windows 10, macOS 10.12, and iOS. General Features - 5 Gb/s USB 3.1 Gen 1 compliant.
- Supports UHD 4K resolutions using a single display output with Intel Kaby Lake processors and above using a USB Type-C port that supports DP Alt Mode.
- Supports simultaneous dual-display video output up to 1920 x 1080 simultaneously, but only if your graphics card supports MST. Mac computers only support single-view output.
- Plug-and-play, so no drivers or external power adapters are required.
- Compatible with Windows, macOS, and iPad Pro. With iPad Pro, only video output and USB keyboards are supported.
