Product description The VGA over CAT5 Wall Plate Extender from Aten is comprised of one transmitter and one receiver wall plate which extend VGA and audio signals up to 492' using a CAT5e cable (not included). This extender supports popular widescreen formats and resolutions of up to 1920 x 1200 at 98.4' and 1280 x 1024 at 492.1'. Additional wall-plate pairs can be used to increase the transmission range or multiply the sources and/or displays in your setup.
The VGA over CAT5 Wall-Plate Extender can be powered at either the transmitter or receiver side, and uses a second CAT5e cable to transmit the power signal. The compact wall plate design allows for a neat and convenient installation. It is an ideal solution for function rooms, museums, and any environment that requires that equipment and cabling be kept hidden from public view. - Uses two CAT5e cables to connect the local and remote units (one transmits video & audio, the other power)
- Remotely powered from either the transmitter or receiver side using included power adapter
- Extends the distance between VGA source and VGA display up to 492.1'
- Adjustable gain control manually adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance
- Supports wide screen formats
