Product description The VS1808T 8-Port HD Video/Audio Cat 5e/6 Splitter with RS-232 from ATEN is a quick and efficient device to move HDMI multimedia content and HDCP information from an input source to eight displays. A one-to-many, point-to-multipoint system for transmission of high definition video and audio, the VS1808T transmits rich multimedia content in real time from HDMI source devices to HDMI display devices over Cat 5e cables. This device can support multi-displays when combined in an installation with ATEN's HDMI extender*. The VS1808T provides the flexibility you need for a customized digital signage or HDMI display installation, allowing you to set up your display device 200' from the HDMI source devices. Note: *Compatible receiving device is VE800R HD Video Extender. - The VS1808T solution is suitable for any installation that requires HDMI content to be delivered to multiple destinations, such as:
In-store or tradeshow digital signage
Broadcasting information to public locations (news, airline and train schedule, and arrival/departure information)
Sporting events
Theater and lecture overview rooms
Classroom and company training facilities - One HDMI input to eight HDMI outputs via Cat 5e cables
