Product description Optimized to enhance target appearance at all magnifications, the Athlon 4-16x44 Midas TAC Side Focus Riflescope manages this task with its wide 44mm objective, clear and bright lenses, and full multi-coatings that are made to maximize light transmission and true image color. The optical system also empowers you with a 4-16x zoom for precision and parallax-free performance, starting from 10 yards. Also noteworthy is the APRS2 MIL reticle, located in the first focal plane. Its pattern features four medium posts and a fine crosshair with dense, MRAD-based stadia. The first focal plane location allows the reticle to match the scale of targets and backgrounds as you zoom in and out and serve correct compensation values, without the necessity to do any additional math.
Alongside clear and bright optics, the scope features a durable, fogproof, and waterproof aluminum housing with a 30mm maintube. It is argon-purged to be moisture free and to prevent fogging-up when the temperature suddenly changes. For making adjustments, the scope provides different turrets styles for windage and elevation. The windage turret is capped to prevent unintentional misadjustments, while an exposed direct dial elevation turret provides fast corrections as required by the situation.
