Product description The Nanoamp Series SUM100 Summing Amplifier from ATI is a stereo to mono summing amplifier with balanced 3-pin XLR input and output connectors. In many cases amplifiers, preamplifiers, and analog mixers can provide stereo outputs but are incapable of summing stereo signals to mono. Mono signal feeds are required for certain wireless transmission as well as other applications relative to sound reinforcement and recording.The inputs provide a balanced 40-kOhm bridging impedance for line levels up to +24 dBm. The high-input impedance allows it to also bridge -10 dBu (hi-fi, RCA plug) lines without loading. Front-panel screwdriver potentiometers provide independent input trim controls and full-range master gain control. 28 dB gain maximum with input and output controls fully clockwise. - Stereo to Mono Summing
- The SUM100 converts the stereo signal from an output source and sums the signal to mono. Stereo to mono conversion is required for certain wireless transmission and other applications.
- Balanced Connections
- Stereo inputs and mono output feature balanced XLR connections.
- Bridged Input
- The inputs provide balanced 40-kOhm bridging impedance for line levels up to +24 dBm. The high-input impedance allows it to also bridge -10 dBu (hi-fi, RCA plug) lines without loading.
- Compact Design
- The compact, lightweight footprint of the SUM100 allows portability and use on the road. Up to 3 units will mount side-by-side in only one RU using the available rack-mounting kits.
