Product description The Atlas Sounds A-Line AL218A-B - Dual 18" Powered Subwoofer Enclosure is designed to be flown or surface mounted in large format live sound reinforcement applications that require high sound pressure levels. The unit features dual cast 18" subwoofers in a Baltic Birch enclosure with a durable Duracoat finish. Each subwoofer is capable of handling 1500-watts RMS power for a total of 3000-watts RMS. The power is delivered via an internal high efficiency, class-D amplifier.
The subwoofer's amplifier features integrated DSP that allows the speaker to be configured through a network. Power connections are made using Powercon connectors and multiple units can be linked together via Speak-ON connections located on the back panel. The unit also includes the patent pending EZAL rigging system that is designed for connecting multiple enclosures together in a flyable array. The subwoofer is suitable for reinforcing low frequency reproduction in large format venues such as arenas, stadiums, theaters, and concert venues.
