Product description The Atlas Sound AL123A-B Dual 12" 3-Way Powered Large Format Line Array Speaker is designed to operate in groups of up to eight boxes for high output and wide coverage in live sound reinforcement applications such as in concert halls, clubs, and other venues. The active three-way full range speaker design utilizes 2400 Watts RMS to drive two 12" low frequency woofers, 600 Watts RMS to drive four 6" midrange drivers, and 600 Watts RMS to drive two 1.4" high frequency drivers all within a Baltic Birch cabinet. The DSP for the speaker is controlled over a network for tuning the system to different acoustic environments.
The cabinet is finished with heavy duty black Duracoat and utilizes the company's EZAL rigging system for installation. The fittings are threaded for attachment of speakers LSRs, rigging, and amplifiers. Up to eight boxes can be individually aimed while under load in either a flown or stacked configuration by just one or two people. Optional 1/4 x 1/2 truck pack wheel boards and fly frames are available for touring and installed applications. The speaker is made in the USA.
