Product description The gray Atlas Sound APX40TN is a 40W paging loudspeaker with a rotating bell designed to deliver consistent beamwidth control and flexible positioning for public address or paging applications in commercial, light industrial, and large retail/distribution applications. It features a 40W power rating and a universal 25/70/100V transformer with selectable taps. The bell yields a coverage area of 60 x 40°, and can be rotated in 15° increments. Constructed of high-impact polycarbonate resin and topped with a paintable gray finish, it boasts an IP54 rating and TAA compliance. A built-in protective screen prevents bugs from congregating and nesting. The APX40TN's die-cast zinc mounting bracket ensures easy installation to E.O. boxes or AP Series speakers. - Coverage of 60 x 40° across a wide frequency range for predictable beamwidth control
- Triple lock horn-to-base mounting method speeds installation and ensures long-term stability
- Bell rotates in 15° increments for precise on-site positioning of projection angles detailed in acoustic simulation programs
- Universal 25/70/100V transformer with rotary-dial selector for easy tap indication
- Rear cap includes partially-captive screws (no loose parts) for swing-open access to power taps and wire connections
- Rear cap knockout for conduit connection
- Power stripe code around the driver assembly provides identification of power rating from a distance
- Built-in screen for protection against nesting bugs
- Molded of high-impact, neutral-gray polycarbonate resin with UV light inhibitor to prevent embrittlement and discoloration
- Die-cast zinc mounting bracket may be mounted to standard 1-gang, 2-gang, and 4-gang E.O. boxes, banded to poles, or removed for easy retrofit of existing AP Series loudspeakers
