Product description The ATS183GL Garden Speaker (Tall Base, 70V) from Atlas Sound is a compact garden speaker, ideal for outdoor installation in theme parks, hotels, and any other landscaped area where speakers should be heard but not seen. The speaker has an 8" coaxial polypropylene/Kevlar cone woofer and a 0.5 mylar dome tweeter to provide high-quality audio. The speaker has a down-firing arrangement that provides a 360° horizontal dispersion pattern. The design also means that the drivers cannot collect dust or condensation. A triple-layer grille assembly protects the drivers from the elements.
The speaker has a convenient 2-piece design that consists of a base unit and a speaker/transformer unit. This allows modular installation, so the base can be installed during initial construction, and the speaker can be installed later. This helps prevent the speaker from being damaged during construction and landscaping, and also reduces the risk of theft.
The enclosure is made from stable polyethylene to ensure durability and performance, even in unpredictable and temperamental climates. The green finish helps the speaker to blend in with grass, shrubs, and other plants. The speaker has a 70V transformer with externally adjustable taps at 8, 16, and 32W for use with distributed sound systems. - Suitable for outdoor installation in theme parks, hotels, and any other landscaped area where speakers should be heard but not seen.
