Product description This pair of white Atlas Sound FAP40T lightweight Strategy II Series 4" 16W ceiling speakers offers clear reproduction of voice and music signals for use in offices, classrooms, and retail shops. The 4" polypropylene woofers are housed by low-profile plastic enclosures, which are tuned and ported for extended low-frequency range. Each FAP40T yields a frequency response of 100 Hz to 12 kHz, with adjustable power output settings ranging from 16W at 8 Ohms to a maximum of 16W at 70.7V. The tap selector switch is concealed and protected by a press-fit steel grille. System wiring is accommodated by the 2-pole terminal strip, located beneath a removable rear-panel cover. Two tile bridges—one for each speaker—are included for easy installation in suspended ceiling tiles. - Extended Bass Response
- The tuned and ported design of the enclosure is specifically intended to give the listener an extended bass response.
- Sturdy Construction
- The low-profile enclosure features a press-fit steel mesh grille and high-impact plastic exterior for durability. Lightweight construction renders additional support in drywall ceilings unnecessary.
- Internal Transformer with Selectable Taps
- The 16W internal transformer offers power taps at 1, 2, 4, 8, or 16 watts, as well as an 8-Ohm setting that bypasses the transformer.
- 2-Pole Terminal Strip
- The 2-pole terminal strip is housed behind a removable metal cover that allows for easy access and daisy-chain capabilities.
- Tile Bridge
- The included tile bridges are designed for use on 2 x 4' or 2 x 2' suspended ceiling tiles.
