Product description The white Atlas Sound GD87W is a passive, non-shielded 8" ceiling speaker with an 8W multi-tap transformer designed for voice amplification and background music reproduction in a variety of environments ranging from academic institutions to industrial buildings. When driven by a 70V/100V power amplifier (available separately), the 8" treated paper woofer and 3" tweeter yield a nominal frequency range of 45 Hz to 19 kHz. A built-in crossover network ensures proper distribution of frequencies to the speaker components. With a 120° dispersion pattern and a pre-installed CRS baffle, the GD87W is well suited for installation in tile bridges, mounting rings, and enclosures. The color-coded 6" wire lead ensures simple wiring at the desired tap setting. The GD87W includes mounting hardware for easy installation. - Multi-purpose coaxial loudspeaker for voice transmission, music, and signal reproduction in commercial, industrial, and institutional applications
