Product description The Atlas QR-2 Microphone Stand Base Quick Release System installs between the 7/8" threaded microphone stand tube and round base. The system is intended to provide quick installation and breakdown of microphone stands, by allowing the technician to simply insert the tube into the base.The ball bearing interconnect system provides a sturdy, secure fit. Technicians must step on the outer ring of the quick release in order to detach the tube from the base; this will also avoid inadvertent detachment during performances. The QR-2 is an ideal solution for touring situations, stage performances, theaters, and is completely compatible with the Atlas MS-10C, MS-10CE, MS-12C and MS microphone stands.
