Product description Sold as a pair, the white Atlas Sound SM42T-WH is a weather-resistant, surface-mount loudspeaker offering consistent coverage and installation flexibility for indoor/outdoor environments such as retail shops, restaurants, warehouses, and more. The compact cabinet houses an efficient 4" polypropylene woofer and a 1" dome tweeter to deliver a frequency response of 115 Hz to 16 kHz. The TRX high-frequency waveguide system provides even 90 by 90° dispersion. The integrated 16W transformer offers selectable power taps and allows the SM42T-WH to be driven by 70V, 100V, or 8-Ohm power amplifiers (available separately). Internal PolyGuard circuitry protects the tweeter without compromising high-frequency performance. A removable cover guards the 2-pole barrier strip input, which accommodates wires up to 14 AWG. The SM42T-WH includes a heavy-duty, C-shaped bracket for versatile horizontal or vertical mounting. - 2-way loudspeaker for surface-mount configurations in residential, professional, or commercial applications
- Weather-resistant construction allows you to use the speaker indoors or outdoors
- 4" woofer and 1" tweeter yield a frequency response of 115 Hz to 16 kHz
- Drivers boast low-flux leakage, which allows speaker placement near video monitors
- High-frequency waveguide system for even sound dispersion of 90 by 90°
- Internal PolyGuard protection circuitry for smooth performance
- Internal 16W transformer allows operation with 70.7V or 100V power amplifiers
- Screwdriver-selectable power taps at 2, 4, 8, and 16 watts, plus an 8-Ohm transformer bypass position
- Includes heavy-duty, C-shaped bracket with 5/8"-27 threaded hole for easy mounting
- Standard 1/4"-20 brass hardware inserts let you use off-the-shelf security hardware
- Compatible with OmniMount 10 brackets
