Product description The SM8CXT 8" Coaxial Speaker with Internal Transformer (White) from Atlas Sound provides high-quality audio in a compact and durable design, ideal for installation applications in auditoriums, houses of worship, and more. The wooden cabinet has an 8" polypropylene woofer and a 1" compression tweeter to provide clear audio with a wide frequency response. An integrated crossover network ensures proper frequency transition between the drivers for optimal performance. The drivers have permanently aligned voice coils to minimize distortion. A metal grille protects the drivers and provides a stylish look.
The speaker has a 90° conical dispersion pattern to provide ample coverage with a wide sweet spot, allowing audio to reach a broad audience. The speaker has an internal 60W transformer that allows 70.7/100V operation with distributed systems. The speaker can also be used in standard 8 ohm passive operation and has a power handling capability of 150W. A barrier strip input supports all operating modes, while parallel Speakon connectors support 8 ohm operation only. Multiple 1/4"-20 inserts are provided, allowing you to suspend the speaker in a variety of configurations. - The compact and durable design is ideal for installation applications in auditoriums, houses of worship, and more

- A barrier strip input supports all operating modes, while parallel Speakon connectors support 8 ohm operation only
- The unique input panel allows the use of a standard 4" square box cover (Raco 753 or equivalent) for applications where a flex conduit is required for termination
- Multiple 1/4"-20 inserts are provided, allowing you to suspend the speaker in a variety of configurations
- Pre-drilled T-Nut inserts allow you to use the speaker with an optional Omnimount bracket for wall mounting
