Product description The Atlona 1 x 8 HDMI Distribution Amplifier supports resolutions up to 4K 4096 x 2160@24Hz and automatically de-embeds incoming audio for output via S/PDIF and Phoenix connectors. It also supports 3D video in up to 36 bit.
De-embedded audio isn't down-converted, so the S/PDIF output supports up to 5.1 Dolby Digital or 5.1 DTS formats and the Phoenix output supports up to 2 channels (front left/front right, or stereo). The S/PDIF output is also dependent on the capacity of the optional receiver required on its output end. The S/PDIF, Phoenix, and HDMI outputs can output audio at the same time.
Reference EDID is learned from the first connected output display and mirrored to all outputs, ensuring an uninterrupted A/V signal. Cascading is supported four levels deep in up to 1080p (4K x 2K cascading not supported). The HDMI input/outputs support locking HDMI cables. Two power supply ports are available, one for back-up and both supporting locking power supplies. One power supply is included. LED indicators on the front panel display I/O status and power status. - Key Features
