Product description The 4K HDMI/VGA over HDBaseT 2x1 Switch Wall Plate Extender Kit from Atlona consists of an HDBaseT switcher with HDMI and VGA input ports on a wall plate, and a DCI/UHD 4K HDMI over HDBaseT receiver. This switcher/transmitter and receiver combination delivers a 4K signal extension a distance up to 328', and offers automatic HDMI/VGA input switching and display control. - 2x1 HDMI & VGA Wall Plate Switcher with HDBaseT Ethernet Output The 2x1 HDMI & VGA Wall Plate Switcher from Atlona features a two-gang, Decora form factor with an HDMI and VGA input, and an always-on 3.5mm audio connector. Signal support includes HDMI up to 4K/UHD @ 60 Hz (YUV 4:2:0 color sub-sampling), VGA input signals up to 1920 × 1200, embedded audio, and control signals which can be extended up to 328’. The switcher receives power from the AT-HDVS-200-RX scaler via Power over Ethernet, and together they create a standalone AV switching and control system with scaling. Display control and volume commands are transmitted via CEC, IP, or RS-232 to any display, control system, switcher, or other controllable device. The wall plate switcher can be the central component of small, automated AV systems for classrooms and huddle rooms. The automatic display control turns on the display automatically whenever a source is connected. When the source is removed, the display turns off. Volume is controlled via the front panel or other control signals. Automatic input selection on the switcher works by sensing the presence of any video signal. With automatic input selection, manual control systems can be eliminated.Using the AT-PS-POE (not included), the switcher can connect directly to Atlona HDBaseT receivers, such as the AT-UHD-EX-100CE-RX, or projectors with HDBaseT inputs, enabling simplified control and adding legacy VGA inputs at the HDVS.
