Product description - AUDIFIED - STA Effects 2 - Introduction
STA Effects from AUDIFIED combines six classic studio effect plug-ins with Summing Tube Amplifier (STA) modeling. Dry and wet signals are mixed through a vacuum tube simulation, adding analog-like warmth and smooth valve saturation to ordinary-sounding effects. This bundle includes second-generation versions of STA Preamp, STA Flanger, STA Chorus, STA Phaser, and STA Enhancer plug-ins. It also comes with STA Delay, a valve-saturating delay with control over tempo, decay, stereo, ping pong, and high-pass/low-pass filter parameters. - New in Version 2

- Plug-ins brand changed to AUDIFIED, IDs and licensing changed as well
- Software can be installed and used simultaneously with previous versions but cannot use former user presets
- GUI update with Retina support
- Algorithm operating point can now be adjusted in the range of –24 dBFS to 0 dBFS using a calibration mechanism
- Default calibration value is set to –9 dBFS, and this value can be modified so all newly inserted STA plug-ins start with desired operating point set
- DSP algorithms performance improved
- STA simulation algorithm protection added – too hot a signal at the input of the STA circuit is hard-clipped
- Clip indicators added to VU meters
- VU metering recalibrated so 0 dBVU corresponds to –9 dBFS
- Level In and Level Out parameters added, so you can easily adjust signal level to reach desired saturation
- Delay plug-in added
- Pro Tools advanced shortcuts functionality improved
- Pro Tools Audio Suite functionality improved

Valve Circuit Modes -
- P / Presence – higher amount of mid-high frequencies, cuts through the mix
- V / Vintage – smoother highs and even harmonics
- B / Brown – almost-flat response with only light high frequencies roll off and nice higher harmonics punch
- W / White – higher amount of higher frequencies, balanced ratio between even and odd harmonics
- L / LoFi – contains less low and high frequencies
