Product description The Audinst HUD-mini is a compact USB DAC designed to provide increased volume and sound quality for music lovers and audiophiles in listening rooms, home studios, and home theaters. It utilizes a Burr-Brown D/A converter, supports resolutions up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, and works with a variety of headphone impedances from 16 to 300 Ohms.Use the supplied USB cable to connect your computer to the HUD-mini, which is USB-powered to negate the need for an external power supply. A 2-color LED indicates power status and signal presence. Plug headphones into the 3.5mm and 1/4" headphone jacks and hook up speakers via the supplied 5’ RCA cable. A toggle switch allows you to switch signal between the headphone and line outputs. You can also route audio through the digital TOSLINK optical output to a stereo receiver. The front-panel volume knob controls the headphone monitoring level. - High-resolution, low jitter, Burr-Brown PCM1791A D/A
