Product description The Audio-Technica BP4073 Shotgun Microphone Advanced Kit is an exclusive for customers and accessorizes the BP4073 shotgun microphone for use in applications such as ENG (Electronic News Gathering), EFP (Electronic Field Production), video and feature film audio, broadcast audio and more.Along with Audio-Technica BP4073 microphone, the kit includes a lightweight graphite boompole with internally coiled XLR cable, softie windmuff, universal shockmount for boom and camera mounting, coiled and uncoiled XLR cables, and a neoprene storage bag for the boompole and accessories. - Audio-Technica BP4073 Line and Gradient Condenser Microphone The BP4073 Line and Gradient Condenser Microphone from Audio-Technica is a lightweight directional shotgun microphone. It can be used to capture audio in various environments for speech and audio applications such as feature film, broadcast TV, or sound for video productions. The microphone measures 9.17" in length, and weighs 3.5 oz making it ideal for long-term use on a boompole or handheld mount. Featuring a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz, a line + gradient pickup pattern, and low noise, the BP4073 shotgun microphone delivers transparent audio reproduction. Also, an 80 Hz hi-pass filter switch minimizes low-frequency noise and ambiance, while a 10 dB pad switch provides added headroom when capturing transient (peak) audio signals. The BP4073 is RoHS compliant, which means it is free from all substances in the EU directive on the reduction of hazardous substances. The microphone is built tuff in a rugged housing made of a lightweight structural-grade aluminum alloy. In addition, it includes an AT8405a stand clamp for a 5/8"-27 threaded microphone stand, a 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 threaded adapter, an AT8144 foam windscreen, two rubber O-Rings, and a protective carrying case.

The shockmount is easily angled with its rubberized adjustment knob. They are engineered for dramatic reduction of unwanted broadband wind noise and vocal pops with very little high frequency loss, for exceptionally accurate recordings.
This WSS-2012 Professional Windshield has an inside depth of 12cm and is designed for use with many shotgun microphones. It features a specially manufactured open-cell foam matrix surrounded by a layer of 25mm-thick simulated rabbit fur. This diffusion technology lowers wind velocity in a controlled air space around the microphone, thereby reducing wind noise without muffling the sound. It also features an airtight tapered rubber base that seals out wind from the rear of the microphone, greatly improving isolation and rear wind protection.
When used on a shotgun microphone, this slip-on windshield is effective in minimizing wind noise and plosive sounds. It is most effective in light breeze to strong breeze conditions (4-25 mph) and users can generally expect a 24dB to 40dB reduction in wind noise with negligible dampening of high frequencies. For most applications, the negligible high frequency dampening is a worthwhile exchange for the dramatic wind noise reduction.
