Product description The Audio-Technica Consumer ATH-AD1000X are circumaural open-back audiophile headphones offering wideband high-resolution audio reproduction for monitoring in rooms with minimal ambient noise. They utilize a lightweight magnesium alloy frame with thick suede ear cushions, comfortable headband padding, and a pressure-relief 3D wing support system. The open-back earcups reduce resonance while allowing a natural sound image. Featuring custom-designed 53mm dynamic drivers with OFC-7N voice coils, they produce an extended frequency response of 5 Hz to 40 kHz. The 9.8' dual-sided cable boasts four-core construction, separate left/right ground wires, and a gold-plated 3.5mm TRS jack for compatibility with DACs and mobile devices. A 1/4" TRS adapter is included to enable connectivity with external headphone amplifiers, mixers, and audio interfaces. - Large-aperture 53mm drivers with OFC-7N voice coils, designed exclusively for ATH-AD1000X
