Product description Equipped with 40mm neodymium drivers, the ATH-ANC50iS Headphones from Audio-Technica combine high-fidelity audio, noise cancellation, and comfort in a lightweight (at 6.8 oz) package, and are designed to work with smartphones, tablets, laptops or in-flight entertainment systems. The headphones feature Audio-Technica's QuietPoint active noise-cancelling technology which reduces environmental noise by up to 87%, letting you hear your music free from distractions for up to 40 hours on a fully charged AAA battery, whether in a plane or in a noisy office. They will also operate in passive mode without batteries. The detachable cable with in-line control and microphone lets you answer calls and handle playback of music and video. The omnidirectional mic ensures clear transmission of your voice without having to speak directly into the mic. Other features include padded earcups designed to fit snuggly but comfortably over your ears, resulting in excellent passive noise cancellation, and an on/off switch in earcups with no external modules.
