The headphones feature Audio-Technica's QuietPoint active noise-cancelling technology which reduces environmental noise by up to 90%, letting you hear your music free from distractions for up to 40 hours on a fully charged AAA battery, whether in a plane or in a noisy office. They will also operate in passive mode without batteries. Designed to work with smartphones, tablets, laptops or in-flight entertainment systems, the headphones use 40mm neodymium drivers to deliver a natural sound with intense bass, detailed midrange, extended treble, and accurate imaging in an immersive sound field. The easy-to-press, illuminated logo button on the earcup lets you manage your music and phone calls without having to reach for your smartphone. The high-sensitivity mic is built into the earcup rather than on the cable, to ensure clear calls with a uniform volume level. Designed for long-wearing comfort, the ATH-ANC70 features swiveling earcups with cushioned padding which fit easily over any ear, and an adjustable headband with memory foam.
