Product description The Audio-Technica Consumer ATH-L5000 are wooden audiophile headphones offering a premium combination of comfort, style, and performance for discerning connoisseurs of high-resolution audio. They utilize a circumaural (over-ear) design with thick ear cushions and headband padding, and the closed-back earcups isolate your listening experience from ambient sounds. With 58mm dynamic drivers in leather-covered wood housings, they produce an extended frequency response of 5 Hz to 50 kHz tailored for natural tone. The detachable 9.8' unbalanced cable is terminated with a gold-plated 1/4" TRS jack for compatibility with dedicated headphone amplifiers, DACs, and audio interfaces, and may be easily swapped for the AT-B1XA balanced headphone cable (available separately). The ATH-L5000 headphones include a padded hard-shell case for safe and convenient storage and transport. - 58mm driver units include a lightweight CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) flange for improved airflow and diaphragm movement
- Diaphragms with DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating deliver full-range audio from 5 Hz to 50 kHz
- Sycamore wood housings covered with Connolly aniline leather impart a natural acoustic signature
- Includes detachable 9.8' cable with A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) connectors and a gold-plated 1/4" TRS jack
- Compatible with AT-B1XA balanced headphone cable (available separately)
- Includes padded hard-shell case for safe storage and transport
