Product description Designed for snare drums and tom toms, the Audio-Technica PRO 23 is a dynamic microphone with a low-profile design. This design allows you to place the microphone close to the drum without getting in the drummer's way, and therefore, is suitable for both live and recording scenarios. The PRO 23 offers an integrated mount that, when coupled with the included AT8665, allows you to position the mic on the rim of the drum; this makes the whole affair rather convenient in touring scenarios. An all metal construction adds to the durability. On to the properties of the mic itself, then, which include a frequency response of 100 Hz to 12 kHz, as well as a construction designed to handle both fast transients and high SPLs. The dynamic capsule provides a cardioid polar pattern, so that you may position the mic to reject sounds you wouldn't want, such as the hi-hat (when miking the snare), or the snare (when miking the toms). A soft carry-pouch is included with the PRO 23. - Key Features at a Glance
