Product description The Audio-Technica PRO 25ax is a dynamic instrument microphone with a hypercardioid polar pattern and high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) capability. Tailored for instruments with high SPL response, the PRO 25ax is capable of reproducing transient audio peaks and excessively high levels at close proximity without noise and distortion. The microphone delivers a warm low-frequency response with excellent presence. The hypercardioid pattern is most effective in minimizing noise and audio at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The pattern is effective in minimizing "leaks" from adjacent signal sources or feedback caused by nearby monitors or speakers. The PRO 25ax is a viable choice for capturing kick drum, percussion, brass and other highly dynamic instruments. - Hypercardioid Pattern
