Product description The Audio-Technica PRO 61 is a rugged handheld hypercardioid dynamic microphone optimized for capturing speech and vocals in rehearsals, public address, or onstage. Its frequency response is optimized for enhanced intelligibility of vocals. The PRO 61 features a dynamic element with a high-output neodymium magnet, which contributes to achieving high-output levels with low noise floor. The hypercardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing noise and ambient audio at the sides and rear of the microphone capsule. The result is minimal ambient noise and feedback from nearby monitor speakers. Internal shock mounting impedes handling noise and a two-stage grille delivers protection against plosives. Gold-plated XLRM contacts increase conductivity for proper signal transfer and the rugged construction ensures years of rigorous use. The PRO 61 ships with a 15' XLR cable, a stand clamp, and a soft protective pouch. - Optimized for Vocals
- The PRO 61 features a 70 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response that enhances intelligibility of vocals by attenuating ultralow frequencies and gently boosting the 2 to 5 kHz range for a clear and smooth tone
- Hypercardioid Polar Pattern
- The hypercardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes sound pickup at the sides and rear of the microphone, which allows you to maximize gain-before-feedback
- Internal Shock Mounting
- The dynamic element is shock mounted within the capsule for enhanced protection against handling noise and damage caused by being jostled or dropped
- Neodymium Magnet
- The element features a neodymium magnet, which provides high-output gain and low noise floor
- Two-Stage Pop Filter
- A rugged two-stage pop filter minimizes noise caused by plosives and sibilance
- Gold-Plated Contacts
