Product description The Audio-Technica Pro Series PRO-DRUM4 is a four-piece bundle for miking drums. It includes four microphones, with which you can mic your snare, kick, and toms. As such, it's suitable for miking drum kits in live-sound scenarios. Included in this kit are the PRO 25ax hypercardioid dynamic instrument mic, the PRO 63 dynamic mic for your snare, and two PRO 23 microphones for toms. Also included is a carrying cases with accessories, including the AT8665 drum mount. - PRO 25ax Dynamic Microphone The Audio-Technica PRO 25ax is a dynamic instrument microphone with a hypercardioid polar pattern and high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) capability. Tailored for instruments with high SPL response, the PRO 25ax is capable of reproducing transient audio peaks and excessively high levels at close proximity without noise and distortion. The microphone delivers a warm low-frequency response with excellent presence. The hypercardioid pattern is most effective in minimizing noise and audio at the off-axis sections of the capsule. The pattern is effective in minimizing "leaks" from adjacent signal sources or feedback caused by nearby monitors or speakers. The PRO 25ax is a viable choice for capturing kick drum, percussion, brass and other highly dynamic instruments.

UPC: 042005134267 - PRO 63 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone The Audio-Technica PRO 63 is a general-purpose handheld microphone designed for instrument or vocal capturing in recording or sound-reinforcement applications. The dynamic capsule features a neodymium magnet that provides high output levels while maintaining a low noise floor. The tailored frequency response eliminates low-frequency noise and enhances midrange and high frequencies. The result is greater intelligibility while capturing vocals and enhanced detail when capturing instruments. The cardioid polar pattern is effective in minimizing ambiance and off-axis noise. The cardioid pickup pattern allows use nearby monitors and adjacent instruments with minimal leakage or feedback. The rugged enclosure features a two-stage, ball-type headcase for that provides superior "pop" filtering and wind-noise reduction.

- The PRO 63 features a neodymium magnet on the output stage. The neodymium magnet provides high output gain levels while maintaining a low noise floor.

- The contoured frequency response features a low-frequency roll-off and a rise at the upper and mid-range frequencies. The result is enhanced intelligibility and "air" while minimizing low frequency noise and rumble.

UPC: 042005134335 - PRO 23 Cardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone Designed for snare drums and tom toms, the Audio-Technica PRO 23 is a dynamic microphone with a low-profile design. This design allows you to place the microphone close to the drum without getting in the drummer's way, and therefore, is suitable for both live and recording scenarios.
The PRO 23 offers an integrated mount that, when coupled with the included AT8665, allows you to position the mic on the rim of the drum; this makes the whole affair rather convenient in touring scenarios. An all metal construction adds to the durability.
On to the properties of the mic itself, then, which include a frequency response of 100 Hz to 12 kHz, as well as a construction designed to handle both fast transients and high SPLs.
