Product description Add wireless music streaming to your audio system with the 2019 version of the B1 Bluetooth Music Receiver from Audioengine. This unit has Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and features an operating distance of up to 100'. In addition to Bluetooth aptX compatibility, the B1 incorporates the AKM AK4396A digital to analog converter (DAC) for high-quality audio playback. For connectivity, stereo RCA and digital optical outputs are onboard; a stereo RCA cable is included. As a plug-n-play device, no software is required for installation. With a weight of 1.0 lb, the B1 is light enough for daily travel, and includes microfiber bag for transporting. - AKM AK4396A Digital to Analog Converter
- The B1 Bluetooth Receiver utilizes the AKM AK4396A DAC for low noise and high-fidelity. The B1 functions as an upsampling 24-bit Bluetooth DAC and will pad all bit depths internally to 24-bits, thus achieving a higher signal-to-noise ratio. Due to the AK4396A's high signal-to-noise specs, 24-bit digital signal upsampling, and the added benefit of triple redundancy power source conversion and filtering, the B1 showcases low noise and low distortion characteristics with a noticeable improvement over typical Bluetooth devices.
- High-Quality Bluetooth Audio
- The B1 features aptX coding, which produces high-quality sound quality when used with compatible Bluetooth devices. The B1 is backwards-compatible with all previous Bluetooth implementations, so you can wirelessly stream music from any Bluetooth-enabled device.
- Optical Output
- The B1 also functions as a wireless audio bridge from your device to your favorite DAC or preamp. Use the internal DAC with RCA analog outputs or connect the optical output into another DAC.
