Product description Available for download, Audionamix IDC is audio software designed to separate speech from noisy background material, allowing dialogue to be more intelligible and presentable. It is suitable for use in post-production scenarios, including television, film, web content, and more. Rather than necessitating standalone operation, the software accomplishes its processing in real time, working as a plug-in within your DAW or compatible NLE. It utilizes sophisticated AI technology to separate dialogue from particularly pesky background audio that contains dynamic, variable, and complex noise. Thus, it works equally well in eliminating room tone and wind noise.
Intuitive controls are provided in the GUI. A big knob in the center controls the level of background noise. Often it doesn't serve the material to noise-reduce to a drastic degree, so this knob gives you the ability to make your own call as to the level of the noise. The speech slider gives you the ability to adjust the level of separated speech, doing so with a range of ±24 dB.
The strength slider to the left of the knob controls the intensity of the separation algorithm. A higher value allows you to reduce more noise at the price of a more noticeably-affected result. Lower settings will produce more natural-sounding speech, but will also let you separate less of the original background noise. It is a balancing act, and this GUI allows you to set the balance quickly and effectively on a per-track basis.
