Product description Enjoy enhanced HDMI connectivity with the 3.2' AudioQuest Cinnamon High-Speed HDMI Cable. It utilizes 1.25% silver-plated conductors to help minimize jitter and distortion. As a directional cable, the Cinnamon HDMI cable is designed to provide augmented signal quality when installed in the proper orientation. - 1.25% Silver-Plated Conductors
- Silver-plated conductors are designed to be well-suited for high-frequency applications, such as HDMI audio and video. The high frequency of these signals causes them to travel almost exclusively on the surface of the conductor. With the surface being made of 1.25% pure silver, the performance is closer to that of a solid silver cable rather than copper.
- Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
- Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy; some of this energy is stored and then released as distortion. The Cinnamon HDMI cable uses air-filled foamed-polyethylene insulation because air absorbs nearly zero energy, and polyethylene is low-loss and has a benign distortion profile, causing less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials.
