Product description The Audioquest Set of Four Gold Sure Grip Spade Speaker Cable Connectors is designed for lowering the distortion in your speaker cable connections. The set consists of gold-plated spade connectors, which are free of the distortion causing nickel often found in standard connectors. The design of the connector ensures that there is direct contact between your speaker wire and the highly conductive beryllium copper of the connector. This improves the performance of the connector, over the mechanically stable but less conductive brass often found in standard connectors. The connectors require no crimping or soldering, which could introduce distortion into the signal. Instead the connectors utilize two hex screws to securely attach the speaker cable to the connector. The set comes included with a hex Allen wrench for tightening the screws.
