Product description The Audix D4 drum microphone offers both the frequency and sensitivity response useful for accurately recording drums and percussion instruments. The D4 features a dynamic element capable of reproducing signals with high transients peaks without producing the noise associated with distortion and overloading the capsule.Its 40 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response allows you to capture large instruments low fundamentals—instruments such as kick drums, djembes, kettle drums, floor toms, and more. Its hypercardioid polar pattern provides a tight pick up area at the front of the capsule, making sure that ambiance and noise present at the off-axis sections of the microphone are greatly reduced. - Hypercardioid Polar Pattern

- Extended Low-Frequency Response

- The D4 can accurately handle signals with sound pressure levels registering at 144 dB. Transient peaks are reproduced without distortion due to overload
