Product description The AKG Audix MicroBoom Carbon Fiber 84" Boom without Microphone is a carbon fiber rod that can be used with any of the Audix Micros series condenser microphones. The MicroBoom is ultra lightweight and is able to attach to any microphone stand, making it the perfect problem solver for many hard-to-reach miking applications including choir, plays, and orchestra. Used in conjuction with Audix's specially designed MB-STAND low profile pedestal stand, the MicroBoom can be used in the vertical position for awards-style presentations. - Ultra Lightweight
- Composed of carbon fiber, the MicroBoom is ultra lightweight -- it weighs a scant 2.5 oz! -- and is able to attach to any microphone stand.
- Easy to Position
- Being so lightweight, the MicroBoom is very portable and easy to position. The final angle and position of your microphone (not included) is controlled by using the flexible metal gooseneck located just below the microphone. The MicroBoom is sure to be your problem solver for many hard-to-reach miking applications, including choir, plays, and orchestra.
- Adaptable
- Attaches to any microphone stand, and can be used horizontally or vertically.
- Mini-XLR Connectors
- The MicroBoom top features a mini-XLR female connector that securely holds your microphone in place and also allows for easy access when changing out microphones. The boom bottom terminates in a mini-XLR male connector.
