Product description The Audix OM5TRIO is a bundle of three handheld hypercardioid dynamic microphones. They are optimized for reproduction of vocals, speech, horns, guitars, and drums in live sound, studio sessions, and broadcast applications. Each mic boasts low handling noise and a hypercardioid polar pattern, which is effective in minimizing residual ambience and feedback caused by nearby monitors and speakers. The dynamic element's low-mass diaphragm responds quickly to transients and handles sound pressure levels up to 144 dB. Each mic produces a frequency response of 48 Hz to 19 kHz with a dip at 120 Hz, a mild rise in the low-mid frequencies, and a wide presence boost. The gold-plated XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs, and the zinc alloy body with a dent-resistant steel mesh grille provides road-ready protection and durability.
