Product description The Audix OM6 is a handheld hypercardioid dynamic microphone optimized for full-range reproduction of vocals, speech, horns, guitars, and drums in live sound, studio sessions, and broadcast applications. It boasts low handling noise and a hypercardioid polar pattern, which is effective in minimizing residual ambience and feedback caused by nearby monitors and speakers. The dynamic element's low-mass diaphragm responds quickly to transients and handles sound pressure levels up to 144 dB. It produces a condenser-like frequency response of 40 Hz to 19 kHz with detailed midrange and a high-end boost. The gold-plated XLR 3-pin output ensures compatibility with most microphone preamps and mixer inputs, and the zinc alloy body with a dent-resistant steel mesh grille provides road-ready protection and durability.
