The ABP-412B Aluminum Telescoping Boom Pole with Integrated XLR Cable from Auray is designed to accommodate Electronic News Gathering (ENG), Electronic Field Production (EFP), documentary, and other field recording applications. Adjustable from about 3.5 to 12', it allows you to place a microphone in close proximity to the subject, while remaining at a distance and out of the frame.
Auray ABP poles are manufactured with sturdy lightweight aluminum ensuring portability and reliability. Ergonomic twist locks along with anti-twist alignment make length adjustment effortless, and smooth telescoping is assured even in the most challenging conditions in the field.
The high-quality coiled cable features an XLR connector and an XLR insert connector that provide secure connections and excellent signal transfer. This cable also features a unique strain relief system that absorbs tension, secures the cable, and protects the cable from damage at the edge of the tip exit.
