Product description The matte black Auray PFMU-12 is a universal wire mesh pop filter offering sonically transparent control of plosives for podcasters, voiceover artists, narrators, and singers in home, project, and commercial recording studios. Its dual-layer wire mesh screen inhibits pops and distortion frequently caused by "p" and "b" sounds, yielding smoother vocal tracks that require less editing and processing in post-production. The screen also serves as a shield, preventing corrosion by keeping mouth-born moisture from collecting on your mic's capsule. The PFMU-12's rectangular wraparound design imparts a pleasing visual aesthetic, and delivers consistent performance for various microphone styles and source-to-mic angles.
