Product description Designed to prevent vibrations and handling noise from reaching your small diaphragm or shotgun microphone, the SHM-SD1 Clamping Suspension Shockmount for Small Diaphragm & Shotgun Microphones from Auray features all-metal construction with a felt-line cylinder to protect your mic's finish. Its heavy-duty elastic bands suspend your mic in the basket's center, and prevent vibrations and shocks from hitting your mic. It has a 5/8" threaded connector, and includes a 3/8" adapter. - Eliminates Noise
- The SHM-SD1 eliminates unwanted vibrations that can travel through a mic stand and affect the performance of your microphone
- Clamp-Style Holder
- The clamp-style holder fits many small diaphragm and shotgun microphones and maintains a firm and secure hold on the microphone
- Felt-Lined Cylinder
- The felt-lined cylinder adds to the attenuation of unwanted vibrations from external noise, and protects the microphone's finish
- Metal 5/8"-27 Mic Stand Adapter
- A metal mic stand adapter assures a durable and secure connection between the shock mount and mic stand. The standard 5/8"-27 thread fits any mic stand with a 5/8" stud, while a 3/8"-16 adapter is included for additional compatibility
