Product description Designed to help eliminate vibrations and noise that can travel through a mic stand, boom pole, or camera from reaching your shotgun microphone, the SHM-SOCAM Suspension Shockmount for Shotgun Microphones from Auray features heavy-duty elastic bands that help assure mic isolation as well as a secure fit. The shockmount will fit microphones between 0.75 and 1.2" (19 and 31 mm). The shockmount's angle is fully adjustable up or down, and is securely locked into place with the locking knob. It has a standard 5/8"-27 threaded adapter, and includes a a 3/8"-16 adapter for connecting to boom poles as well as a shoe-mount adapter for attaching to your DSLR or camcoder. - Eliminates Noise
- The SHM-SOCAM eliminates unwanted vibrations that can travel through a camera, mic stand, or boom pole and affect the performance of the microphone
- ABS Construction
- Sturdy ABS plastic construction provides a solid frame for the isolating bands and will withstand the impacts from use in the field or during transport
- Heavy-Duty Elastic Bands
- The heavy-duty elastic bands suspend the microphone in the center of the basket, and prevent shocks and vibrations that can travel through the mic stand from reaching the microphone
- Locking Knob
- The angle of the shock mount can be locked into position with the locking knob
- Shoe-Mount Adapter
- A shoe-mount adapter is included to provide a secure locking attachment to a DSLR or video camera
- 5/8"-27 Thread
- Standard 5/8"-27 threaded female metal mic stand adapter fits any mic stand with a 5/8" stud
- 3/8"-16 Adapter
- A 3/8"-16 thread adapter is included for easy boom pole mounting
