Improvements Since Previous Version
• This edition adds 6 effects to its previous existing portfolio of 27, bringing the total to 33. Effects introduced here include realistic Lightning Effects for shots of storms and Club Lights for 360° lighting around your subject in motion and dance shots. Improved Snow and Rain Effects afford greater control over the size, shape, and depth of each snowflake, as well as the distance and intensity of each raindrop. You can also now add puddles to the ground for a more realistic Rain Effect. Additionally, you have the ability to add upgraded, realistic orb and lens flare effects to simulate those displayed on film due to natural light passing across the lens. Improved high-resolution layer content makes for better shadow play and fairy dust effects. Enhancements to the program's code allow for the handling of high-res images over 7000 pixels with greater stability.

Ready-Made and Customizable Presets
• Includes a selection of instant preset effects to use as easy starting points. You can also design your own presets for later use. Click 'Select Preset' and you are there. The new roll-over before/after preset controls display examples of how the effect will look after it's applied. Customized User Created Presets can be limited to just one effect or feature several stacked together.

Layer Effects Palette
• Combine effects using the Layer Effects Palette. Simply check your layers on/off to see how the image appears with or without a particular effect in the stack. When you choose one particular layer effect to deactivate, the others remain active to produce the enhancement and refinement desired.

Fast and Easy Brush-on Effects
• Easily apply an effect to the entire photo or just to the area(s) you want in one stroke--even if it's just a single pixel.

Compatibility and Integration
• Runs on Mac or Windows OS. Works well as a plug-in filter accessible under the filters menu in Adobe Photoshop. Saving in Adobe Photoshop format as a plug-in will export the effect layers into a single transparent layer in an Adobe Photoshop native document. The software is also compatible with Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Draw and Corel Paintshop Pro.

Ambiance

Club Lights
• By using Club Lights and adding streaks, bursts, or waves of light, you can create a dazzling image with dramatic flair that looks like a shot out of a dance club.

Ethereal
• Enhances an image by adding in tonal diffusion and light to soften and enrich the lighter values in the shot. Like the traditional technique used by professional photographers, Ethereal simulates a longer exposure with a soft lens and a bright light source.

Fairy Dust
• Brush on a wide assortment of creative patterns and content, including twinkles, sparkles, snowflakes, stars, light flares and other creative shapes to enhance the natural or add a touch of fantasy.

Film Grain
• Easily simulate high-grain film and add a stylish look to an image. Select from various film grain types and the control settings to create them.

Flare
• Create bursts of light and glowing vortex shapes to simulate a wide variety of looks, such as a realistic sun and rays of light. You can make light rays originate from any shape.

Hatch Flare
• Emphasize the hotspots in your images. Add varying sizes of gleaming light-bursts, streaks, and dramatic laser light.

Haze and Fog
• Cast a haze or fog across an image. Control the density and stream of this atmospheric effect with precision.

Lens Flare
• Add lens flares onto an image to simulate light striking the lens.

Lightning Bolts
• Add various types of true-to-life lightning bolts in style and color for special storm effects.

Mist
• Brush realistic mist across an image with ease. Apply the exact amount necessary to create that look of random flowing mist.

Rain
• Introduce varying sizes of rain, puddles, or a combination of both into photos to create realistic rainy weather.

Rainbow
• Place gently blended rainbows into an image and choose from a huge assortment of styles. Benefit from an innovative set of controls that can stream colored light beams onto paths to create powerful visual results.

Snow
• Create a spectacular winter wonderland. Enjoy a variety of different types ranging from a light snow to a heavy blizzard. Even sleet is an available option.

Sunshine
• Add that special warm glow of the sun to any image with this realistic effect that can be applied at the touch of a button.

Lighting

Brighten Highlights
• A useful effect for showcasing detail and lighting up the highlights in your photos.

Brighten Shadows
• Automatically give a needed boost to low-key details in shadow areas, in order to bring them out more.

Light Beams
• Cast photo-realistic beams of light across your digital image. Control the spread, taper, fade-out, and atmospheric elements such as smoke and haze.

Light Brush
• Brush on light to highlight your subject and enhance the look and feel of your image. You can use this filter to simulate cool light, warm light and sunlight.

Light in the Dark
• Lends a romantic, stylized look and feel to your images. Cast beams of light across the scene and bring out light values while the background is darkened.

Misty Light
• Infuse images with soft light beams shining through a gentle mist.

Mood Lighting
• Set the desired mood in an image through the use of the proper light. Brush and paint across the photo to create a romantic, somber, or serious mood.

Radial Light Caster
• Cast beams of light in a circular/radial direction. Create artistic expression by using the light beams as a highlight tool. The light beams can be used in streaks or expansions.

Rain in the Light
• Create natural-looking rain in lighted and highlighted areas where there was previously none.

Snow in the Light
• Create snow that is cast across the light beams in lighted areas of a photo.

Spot Lighting
• Enhance and accentuate the key point of an image with broad, full light beams blended into key areas.

Surface Light
• Cast light shapes across the background of an image to make it more interesting or add context.

Warm Sunlight
• Stream natural sunlight across an outdoor or indoor scene to lighten it.

White Out
• White-out and subdue parts of an image to place emphasis on the intended focal point. Bring to the forefront the desired content while fading out the rest of the image with whitening effects.

Shading

Black Shade
• Give your image the desired look by using shading for emphasis. Black Shade blends deep tonal shading through a convenient gradient path tool, which allows you to infuse images with a silky smooth dark tint.

Deepen Shadows
• Quickly and easily darken and deepen the shadows in an image for natural-looking contrast and depth.

Shaders
• Cast shading through the photo to increase the depth naturally. Create emphasis through broad or specific shading.

Shading Brush
• Enhance the natural shading found in the original image and blend it with richer darks for a desired expression.

Shadow Play
• Add a touch of shadow. Choose from hundreds of pre-made shadows to create the desired look. This filter uses special blending and fading controls that help you create realistic darkening effects.
