Product description Anatomy of a Teleprompter Read More Consisting of metal parts that can be easily assembled, the Autocue 12" Ultra Lite Teleprompter Kit is a sturdy entry level teleprompting option for small camcorders and DSLRs. Professionals who need a short-order solution can also take advantage of the quick, tool-less setup provided by the Ultra Lite series.The teleprompter uses a 12" 1024 x 768 LCD screen and a large 70/30 beam-splitter glass pane to display the prompting text. The LCD monitor has VGA and Composite inputs for accepting video feeds. The prompter glass features an anti-reflective coating on the rear of the glass to minimize artifacts captured by the camera. The hood for the glass is attached to the frame and expands like a bellows when the glass is moved into its proper position.The camera is secured to the plate via the included 1/4"-20 screw. Once connected to a computer, the included QStart software can create prompting text quickly as well as covert Microsoft Word documents into prompter text. The software can be controlled using the computer or a separately available controller.
