Product description Anatomy of a Teleprompter Read More The Autocue/QTV Starter Series iPad Teleprompter Package with Wireless Transmitter Kit from provides a lightweight, cable-free, and low-latency teleprompting solution for your small or large camcorder. This kit includes the standard Autocue Starter Series iPad Teleprompter with a mounting plate and Teradek's Cube Wireless H.264 Video Encoder. Using the Cube, you can broadcast teleprompter text straight from an SDI source over WiFi to up to three iPads running the Teradek TeraView app. The transmission delay is minimized to one frame so that on-the-fly adjustments will be reflected immediately in the prompter text. Because it is tablet based, this solution needs no wires connecting the teleprompter to its video or power sources in the studio or the field. For more versatility the teleprompter rig can be mounted on a steadicam or other equipment without the snagging or motion restrictions brought about by cabling. - Autocue/QTV OCU-SSPIPAD iPad Prompter The Autocue OCU-SSPIPAD iPad Prompter is a hardware package that allows you to convert an iPad into a studio teleprompter (iPad not included). The iPad Prompter package includes a wide-angle teleprompter hood, Gold Plate mounting system, and a Mounting plate for iPad Broadcast quality prompter glass (70:30) offering complete configuration.
The custom-made mounting plate holds the iPad securely in position beneath the broadcast quality prompter glass. In addition, the mounting plate can be fitted in landscape or portrait mode. The Cube 555 includes all the features of the original Cube such as a compact aluminum chassis and comprehensive transport protocol support like RTP/RTSP/RTMP/MPEG-TS. The OLED display enables users to rapidly change and review the settings of their unit in addition to providing real-time feedback for filenames, recording status, and wireless connectivity. No longer are computers or iPads needed for configuration; every feature is a simple click away. The built-in Li-ion battery gives users up to 90 minutes of runtime, which allows for seamless battery swapping or quick broadcasts. The battery can also be charged from an AC adapter or even a suitable external battery such as an Anton Bauer. The new MIMO access point feature improves wireless performance and enables special features such as wireless camera control for devices without a Wi-Fi capability built in, and ensures improved connectivity from an iPad or Android tablets. Also, a headphone output is integrated for immediate audio monitoring. The micro SD slot enables Cube to save on-board proxy recordings in real time. The recorded files (.mov or .mp4) are automatically synced with your proxy server over Wi-Fi or cellular connections.
