Product description Anatomy of a Teleprompter Read More The Autoscript Epic-IP 17" Prompt Monitor and Integrated 17" Talent Monitor Kit is a combination of a 17" prompting monitor that interfaces directly with a WinPlus-IP software (available separately) using its LAN connector, and a 17" talent confidence monitor. The prompt monitor also supports HD-SDI, VITC, and composite inputs in a thin and lightweight design, which minimizes the amount of offset weights you need for your prompter. This kit also includes a carbon fiber hood, mounting system and camera carriage assembly to suit ENG cameras and camcorders, a Tally sensor and cable, and a cable tray. The talent monitor is mounted using friction hinges, to allow easy readjustment of viewing angle, and folds under the prompt monitor when not required. - EVO-IP Prompt Monitor with VITC/D-VITC Inputs and Power Supply (17") Sporting a thin design, the Autoscript EVO-IP Prompt Monitor is a 17" monitor that interfaces directly with WinPlus-IP software (available separately) using its LAN connector. In addition to LAN, the monitor supports HD-SDI and composite inputs, providing you choice in how you get your text into your prompter system. Along with its thin and lightweight design, the monitor incorporates four tally lights, providing 270° of visibility around the teleprompter. The EVO-IP is a high-bright, high-contrast solution for clear and readable text in virtually any brightness conditions.
- Networks directly to WinPlus-IP for simple integration and perfect synchronization without a scroll box
- 1.6" thick and lightweight at 7.7 lb
- Back plate houses a quick release mechanism that allows rapid attachment/detachment of the monitor to/from the Intelligent Prompting mounting system
- 17" Epic Talent Monitor Only Autoscript's 17" Epic Talent Monitor is designed to attach to an Autoscript EVO-IP17M, thus upgrading both units to an EPIC-IP17 integrated prompt/talent monitor system. The talent monitor sits just below the teleprompter and allows the talent to see themselves within the frame, providing them instant visual feedback. It attaches to the prompt monitor using a friction hinge that enables you to adjust its viewing position or fold it under the prompt monitor.
The external power and drive electronics for the monitor are supplied by the EVO-IP monitor, which is required for this monitor to work. This allows the talent monitor to be extremely lightweight and thin for a monitor with its screen size, and it also makes it easier to work with than a monitor that requires internal power and drive electronics. - The friction hinge enables mounting this monitor to an EVO-IP17M prompt monitor, and adjusting the tilt so the talent can see themselves best. As the ETM monitor is extremely lightweight for its size, it can easily be folded out of the way when not needed.
