Product description The black version of the Avantone Mix Tower Active 3-Way Studio Monitor (Single) is designed for professional mixing and mastering applications. The monitor features a custom designed air motion transformer that is sensitive to 94 dB per watt for the treble, a custom 5.25" switchable full-range mid woofer, and a 5.25" custom designed sub-woofer.
The cabinet design further contributes to the sound of the monitor by incorporating a slanted front panel to reduce first incidental cabinet diffraction in the highly directional treble range as well as a front firing bass reflex port to lower the frequency response. The mid frequency driver can be switched to produce either mid range or full range sound. For amplification, the high frequency element receives 100W RMS, the mid frequency/full-range driver receives 100W RMS, and the subwoofer receives 200W RMS.
For controls the unit features a knurled volume knob, a ground lift switch, and a lit power switch. I/O is available in the form of balanced combination 1/4" Phone/XLR connectors. The Accessories include a foot switch, a bridge cable, and an external power supply. - Slanted Cabinet
