Product description Split an HDMI signal and send it out to up to eight displays with the Avenview HBT-C6POE-SP8 1x8 HDBaseT HDMI Splitter. One video output is over HDMI and seven are HDBaseT. HDBaseT is advantageous in situations where longer cable runs to each display are required, such as conventions, installations, and larger presentations. HD and 4K video are supported by both HDMI and HDBaseT outputs, as is multi-channel audio in various formats. HDCP and EDID compliance is maintained ensuring that compatible encrypted and unencrypted content can be displayed properly and with minimal handshake time. Aside from video and audio, HDBaseT can also transport bidirectional IR control for device communication and power to separately available HDBaseT receivers that accept PoE (Power over Ethernet). Included with this unit are an IR transmitter, an IR receiver, and a power supply with a power cord.
