Product description Designed with gamers in mind, the AverMedia ExtremeCap U3 is a USB 3.0 capture box that allows you to capture, record, and stream 1080/60p video via HDMI and component inputs from your PC and game consoles. It is capable of transmitting uncompressed HD data to popular video software with its DirectShow compatibility. The ExtemeCap U3 comes bundled with AverMedia's RECentral software for recording/streaming video with customizable settings, as well as a USB 3.0 Diagnosis Tool to ensure hardware compatibility. Also available with purchase are plug-ins for capturing and editing video within Sony Vegas and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. A USB 3.0 cable and a component video / stereo audio dongle cable come included.
Note: The Extreme Cap U3 does not come with installation disc. Driver, Software, and plug-ins must be downloaded from AverMedia's website. - 1080p 60fps Video Recordings

- RECentral software provides intuitive settings control for recording and streaming gameplay footage. It also provides quick accessibility to popular streaming platforms such as TwitchTV and Ustream.

- Edit or stream uncompressed HD footage with DirectShow compliant software, such as XSplit, OBS, Wirecast, VLC media player, and PotPlayer.

- USB 3.0 Diagnosis Tool
- Test the performance of the USB 3.0 port on your computer with the included USB 3.0 Diagnosis Tool. The utility shoes if the USB 3.0 port is capable of transmitting 1080/60p video content. The tool provides an option to convert the video frame rate if the bandwidth of the port is insufficient.
