Product description The Avid Media Composer Video Satellite Option works with Pro Tools HD software enabling Pro tools editors to easily play HD (high definition) / SD (standard definition) sequences, located on a different Windows-based PC running Avid Media composer, in sync with their Pro tools sessions without rendering effects, transcode video, or copy files.
The Video Satellite Option allows you to access Avid shared media environments to stream video and merge with Avid Interplay asset management. With the facility to transfer the entire video playback to separate but synced computer, it allows you to maintain full track count and processing ability of Pro Tools HD.
With support for Avid Mojo DX and Avid Nitris DX media composer, the Media Composer option offers full-quality HD video capture and playback. In addition, the video option supports import, capture, and playback of all Avid HD video resolutions including DNxHD, DVCPro HD, AVC-I, XDCAM HD, and HDV.
Equipped with standard Ethernet protocol, the Media Composer Video Satellite Option offers faster lockup, scrubbing, and shutting.
