Product description The Pro Tools HD Native 16 x 16 System from Avid is a music and post-production core system that allows the music creator or post professional to create complex productions using the expanded capabilities of Pro Tools HD software, but with a lower-cost native solution. By harnessing the ever-more powerful CPUs of host computers, high cost DSP processors and multiple PCIe slot computers are no longer essential for executing large scale audio/post production.
Some of the benefits Pro Tools HD software brings include higher track counts (audio, instrument, auxiliaries), advanced metering and surround mixing, advanced audio editing and automation, and expanded video editing features, to name just a few. The HD I/O 16x16 Analog interface provides complete input, output and routing control and delivers ultra low latency audio through state-of-the-art digital conversion. It features premium analog circuitry, along with two channels of digital audio.
